Rick Oates has been on the staff of the Alabama Forestry Association since 1993 and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Alabama Pulp and Paper Council. Forest owner's are dependent on the continuous operation of the mills to keep pulpwood prices from collapsing.
    Today Rick will share with us how the continued drought is affecting the pulp and paper industry and the steps that are being taken to monitor the situation.
